Fraser (GBR): The last finalist of the Osijek World Cup 2026. Stoop 1/2 to kolman, late catch but clean. Liukin is gorg. Cassina, again so late but he's held on. Lay tkachev is nice. Zou li min, well controlled. Stoop 1/1 to a great HS. Double double with a hop back. What a good routine to end on. 14.533 and into 4th (6.2, 8.333)
Vera (COL): Stoop 1/1 is clean. Stoop 1/2 to lay piatti a bit low. Cassina to kolman is amazing????? Double double is stuck, won't get the bonus though his heels came up off the mat. 14.366 (5.8, 8.466, +0.1) kidding I lie about the stick bonus apparently
Barajas (COL): He'll need to hit the routine of his life to take gold from TCH. Stoop 1/1, a bit late. Stoop 1/2 to suarez to geinger and his face is almost in the bar but he's on! Cassina straight to Kolman oh my god. Double double is almost stuck with a step back and an arm wave. My heart is pounding. 14.833 he's in 3rd! (6.7, 8.133), that geinger catch sold it.
Grorgiou (CYP): Stoop 1/1, clean but a bit late. Stoop 1/2 is nice. Cassina, a bit far but holds it. Kolman is clean. Zou li min maybe a bit under twisted? Double double with some steps and an arm wave, he looks happy with that :). 14.066 (5.5, 8.566) he's in third!
Letelier (CHI): Stoop 1/1 is gorg. Stoop 1/2 to kolman, great! Cassina, late catch but he holds it. Lay tkachev to geinger, basically brushes the bar in the tkachev. Double lay 1/1 with a hop. He'll be happy with that. 13.900 (5.8, 8.100)
Karimi (KAZ): Stoop 1/2 to liukin, has to reach but makes it. Suarez is so cool. Cassina, catches basically under the bar. Kolman is good but some legs. Stoop to czech giants I hate watching those. Double double goes for the stick and then does a WAG NCAA salute with a big step bruhhhhhh. Why did you do that my dude. 14.933! (6.4, 8.533) a bit generous imo
Yulo (PHI): Tough act to follow. Stoop 1/2 is a bit late. Cassina, gorg. Kolman catches low but clean in the air. Stoop to el grip giants are lovely. Stalder, and a double double lay to finish, small hop forwards. Not his cleanest and his D score is lower than most of the other finalists, so I don't think we'll see him on the podium today. That being said anything can happen on high bar. 13.366 (4.9, 8.466)
TCH (TPE): I can't handle anymore heartbreak today please stay on. Cassina is gorg. Stop 1/2 to Liukin so good. Lay tkachev too. Stoop 1/1 to walstrom again great. Zou li min solid. Please please please. Double double lay is STUCK!!! Thank you thank you I needed this. 15.233!!!!!!! (6.5, 8.633, +0.1) I'm gonna cry
Final final of the day is MAG HB! Goal is to not flinch so hard my laptop goes tumbling down the stands.
Nevermind I lie! Fontaine and Prat are sharing the silver medal! Both had a 5.5D so no tiebreak occurs. Not sure why I thought Fontaine had a 5.6... apologies.
Final results for WAG FX! 1. Colas 13.133 2. Prat 13.100 3. Fontaine 13.100 4. Marano 13.000 5. Gava 12.866 6. Schoenmaier 12.533 7. Moerz 12.266 8. Pach 11.766 Colas having an amazing senior debut! A medal in every final!
Pach (ESP): Memmel with a bit uncontrolled step. Double pike and a step OOB. Back 1.5 to front 1/1, a bit low but controlled. Double wolf is wackkkk. Back 2.5 to full squat :(. 11.766 (5.1, 6.766, -0.1ND)
Moerz (AUT): Front full to double tuck is so massive and her heels are justtttttt in bounds. Double L, I don't think it was fully around. Double lay, nice just a hop. Wolf hop to gorgeon which may or may not be counted. Just does a back layout third pass ???? Wolf spin is slow but makes it. Double pike with a stumble. Goes for triple spin but makes 2.5. Her construction confuses me... 12.266 (5.3, 7.066, -0.3ND) so I guess she did go OOB?
Colas (FRA): Whip whip triple and I think they'll give that to her! Some legs in the air though. Double tuck is gorg with a hop. Nice split positions in the series. Front tuck through to double twist, easy and well controlled. Mitchell, almost put her hand down but otherwise great. Double pike to end and it's clean! It'll all be on that first pass, she could push the podium. 13.133 and into first! (5.2, 7.933)
Prat (FRA): Double L a bit wild but around. Back 1.5 through to double tuck, so clean. Great ring positions in the series, goes for split ring 1/1! I believe that's her skill. Front 1/1 to front 1/1, some knees. Split ring 1/2. Back 2.5 to finish, just keeps it in bounds. As awkward as ring leaps with turns look she has good enough positions to make them pleasant to watch. 13.100! (5.5, 7.600) wins the E score tiebreak!
I feel like WAG FX is allergic to giving out good E scores this is kinda depressing.
Gava (ITA): I love her opening choreo. Full in, so clean and a small hop. Whip to double tuck with a bounce back. Lovely switch ring to switch 1/2. Front 2/1 with some steps. Double wolf is controlled, but some precision errors. Popa. Double pike with a low landing. Her artistry is captivating. 12.866 (5.2, 7.566) into third.
Schoenmaier (GER): Double double with some chest but a great landing! Back 1.5 to front 1/1 is clean in the air with a step forwards. Goes for double wolf and makes like 1.75. The audience loves her. Double tuck with some shuffles to finish. 12.533 (5.2, 7.333)
Marano (ITA): Right off the bat her artistry is amazing. Mitchell is so clean and well controlled. Full in tuck, some legs and a bounce on landing. Double L makes it around. Back 1.5 to front 1/1 with a hop. Memmel is gorg. Double pike with some shuffles to finish. Wraps around a switch 1/1 at the end and I think she'll get it. 13.000 (5.5, 7.500) and just into second! Inquiry for Fontaine! It's been rejected, score unchanged.
Time for WAG FX! Fontaine (CAN): Double double, small hop back my god that was gorg. Double L, well controlled. The bass in here is crazy. Double lay, a bit low but just a small hop with some chest. Good positions in the leaps. Mitchell is so good. Front tuck stepout to double tuck, she warmed up the front full but that was smart if she's fatigued. What a good opening routine! 13.100 (5.5, 7.600)
Holy what a final! Results for MAG PB: 1. Barajas 14.866 2. Whittenburg 14.600 3. Arican 14.333 4. Fraser 13.933 5. Rushworth 13.900 6. Hung 13.666 7. Alvarez 13.633 8. Meszaros 13.066
Barajas (COL): The first place qualifier, Whittenburg might be sweating. Honma is so good. Giant makuts with no hesitation. Peach to 1 bar healy out amazing. Makuts, solid. Giant diam 1/4 with a form break but so good. Front double pike, stuck cold. I didn't see his qualifying routine but this could've been better than that! 14.866! (6.1, 8.666, +0.1)
Rushworth (GBR): Honma, very piked on the way up. Makuts is so clean. Giant makuts is slow but again great form. Giant diam, giant, to tipelt wow. Bhavsar is quick and tidy. Stutz to gorg HS. Double front half with a step sideways. Wow! 13.900 (5.7, 8.200) and into fourth.
Arican (TUR): Uprise makuts is great, some leg form. Uprise stutz, again well held. Peach 1/2, gorg. Peach with some arm bend, makuts is slow but clean. Healy with a bit of legs. Stutz to perfect HS. Double front 1/2 with a shuffle back, so nice from him! 14.33 (5.7, 8.633) he's in second!
Hung (TPE): Peach mount is great. Uprise stutz with some leg sep. Giant. Makuts is great. Healy is smooth. Tipelt a bit low but makes it. Bhavsar clean, maybe a bit low. Double front half landing is so deep and has to take a big hop forwards. 13.666 (5.4, 8.266) if only the dismount was better :(.
Meszaros (HUN): Honma is perf. Peach, felge to back toss. Bhavsar is great. Tipelt, smooth. Makuts is very slow but looks nice. Healy and has to dead swing out of it, looks like he missed his hand a bit. Double front with a small hop. Might be just shy of the podium. 13.066 (5.5, 7.566)
Whittenburg (USA): Honma is great. Peach to peach 1/2 to giant to belle 1/2 so fast and so controlled. Uprise back toss. Straddle front a bit low but makes it. Double front 1/2 stuck cold, amazing. I'm learning in real time I don't know what pbar skills are called. 14.600 (5.4, 8.700, +0.1) huge!!
Fraser (GBR): Honma to a bit bent catch, has to fight to HS. Peach 1/2 is great. Peach to belle 1/2 wow. Giant to 1 bar healy out is gorg. Healy again, easy. Double front 1/2 with a big step forwards. 13.933 (5.6, 8.333)
Alvarez (COL): Straddle cut mount is perf. Makuts clean but slow. Peach to 1 bar to healy out is lovely, well controlled. Peach 1/2 a bit rushed. Tipelt to the end to Bhavsar, clipped the bars a bit? Double back 1/1 off the end, so unique! Clean with a shuffle back. 13.633 (5.5, 8.133)
Now to MAG PB! Lots of mistakes in qualifying so there's an interesting mix of people in this final.
Is it really a beam final if you don't want to kill yourself? Final results for WAG BB: 1. Esposito 13.666 2. Colas 13.433 3. Tian 13.266 4. Stacey 13.066 5. Masova 13.033 6. Trtnik 12.866 7. Biner 11.600 8. Schaefer-Betz 11.166
Esposito (ITA): Diva please just stay on and you'll get a medal. BHS mount LOSO BHS a bit sideways but holds it! Switch to split 1/2 to BHS is a bit slow but so clean. Fwd aerial to split is great. Side aerial, oh how I missed her. Double wolf is great for a wolf I guess. Double pike dismount, a bit low but just a step forwards, she'll be on the podium! 13.666 and she's in first! (5.6, 8.066)
Masova (CZE): Switch mount to switch 1/2 is clean. BHS LOSO, well held. Double wolf with a wobble. Fwd aerial to hands on the beam in like a needle position but it almost looked planned? Switch with a wobble. Split to wolf is good. Side somi, great. Front lay 1/1 dismount stuck. Definitely a nervous routine. 13.033 (5.1, 7.933) and into fourth.
Biner (TUR): RO back pike mount and immediately off :(. Side aerial BHS is nice, random split jump after some choreo. Fwd aerial with an arm wave. Split jump 1/1 lacking in some split. Jump 1/1 from side is great. Double wolf with a big break but she holds it. Double pike dismount is so nice, just a small hop forwards. Beam final is beam final-ing. 11.600 (5.3, 6.300)
Stacey (GBR): Switch mount is so pretty, she has great lines in her dance. Double wolf with a small wobble. Aerial LOSO is great, just an arm wave. Fwd aerial, adjustment has to break connection. Switch leap, again small wobble. Split to sissone is clean. Double tuck dismount with the biggestttt cowboy, my angle doesn't do her any justice. 13.066 (5.2, 7.866) she's into 3rd.
Schaefer-Betz (GER): Please stay on I pray. Switch mount to split leap is easy and controlled. I love her full body leo, one of Germany's better ones. BHS LOSO with a small arm wave. Side aerial is gorg. Switch ring is wonky and she's off I'm killing myself. Double spin with a small adjustment. Goes for the side somi 1/2 and she's off again :(. Fwd aerial to split to stag ring is great. Gainer layout (?) looked pretty piked. The crowd loves her though. I'm so sad. 11.166 (5.2, 6.066, -0.1ND) I think she got a time penalty at the end. Inquiry for Colas! It's been accepted and she's gone up 0.2 to 13.433, she's now in first!
Trtnik (SLO): Candle mount, lovely. Mitchell with a small adjustment but it's great. Switch, has to break the connection with a small wobble. Side aerial LOSO is perfect. Front aerial with an arm wave, breaks the connection into split to sissone. BHS BHS Layout 1.5 to finish, some legs and a hop forwards. She'll lose some difficulty from those connections which is a shame. 12.866 (5.0, 7.866)
Colas (FRA): Switch mount. Fwd walkover to front tuck with a big hip break but she saves it. Double wolf wolfs around it's clean. BHS LOSO LOSO is so solid. Switch to split jump 1/2 a bit wonky. Fwd aerial to split to straddle, lacking on some of the angles and a bit slow. Side aerial with an arm wave. Double pike dismount with a hop, she stayed one which is all you can ask in a beam final. Opens the door for some others later. 13.233 (5.7, 7.533) she's into second!
Tian (CHN): Fwd walkover mount to split to korbut, a bit slow with the connections. RO Layout and she runs out of room :(. Remounts with fwd aerial to straddle to BHS, nice. Switch ring to straddle to BHS to sissone is clean, can't really see ring angles from here. Side split 1/2 to yurchenko leap is so cool and well done. Double pike dismount with a small hop back, such a shame that routine was clean otherwise. 13.266 (6.5, 6.766)
Moving to beam! If Pauline pulls out her skill I might just die. From where I'm sitting we're basically in line with the beam, not sure if I'm liking this angle.
Final results for MAG VT! What a strong podium that was. 1. Hepworth 14.616 2. Davtyan 14.583 3. Chepurnyi 14.583 4. Nelson 14.183 5. Usachev 14.149 6. Whitehouse 14.083 7. Jimenez 13.799 8. Danek 13.699
Nelson (USA): He'll need to be perfect if he wants to break into the podium. Handspring 2.5, goes for the tick but not quite takes a small hop forwards. Chest a bit low and maybe a foot OOB? My angle is bad... 14.366, no OOB. Roche, just a small hop forwards and some cowboy in the air. 14.000 for a 14.183 average and into 4th. 4th is his favourite finish I fear.
Whitehouse (GBR): Drag, holy early twist I fear half the stadium flinched. Low chest and some skew on the landing but just a small hop. 14.133. Kaz 1.5, stuck with some skew. 14.033 for a 14.083 average
Jimenez (ESP): Kaz 1.5, great pre-flight form, but a medium step to the side a bit uncontrolled. 13.833 Roche, for a second there I thought it was going to be sat down. Huge distance and a medium step forward. A bit of air form issues as usual for double front vaults. 13.766 for 13.799 average.
Chepurnyi (UKR): Drag, such great form and almost stuck! Smallest hop back, he moves so fast through the air. 14.566 Kaz 2/1, stuck! A bit low chest and an arm wave. The podium race is on... 14.600 for a 14.583 average and he's into third behind Davtyan!
Hepworth (GBR): Goes for the piked Drag, great pike shape, small leg break towards the end and a medium step back. 14.733! With a clean second vault he could push Davtyan. Handspring 2.5, dare I say better than Davtyan? Amazing shaping and just a small hop with some leg sep at the end. 14.500, for a 14.616 average and he's into first!!!!!
Davtyan (ARM): The top qualifier, potential of high 14s if he holds these landings. Drag, stuck bloody cold! Fairly big cowboy and leg issues in pre-flight but you can't do it much better than that. 14.766! Handspring 2.5, so straight in the air, a medium hop back. This will be so hard to beat. 14.583 average.
Usachev (AIN): Handspring 2.5, fairly large step back but huge distance and great shaping. Drag, tucks really early and has a low chest on landing, but good distance and just a small hop. 14.149 and into first!
Danek (CZE): Yurchenko 2.5, a little bit skew with a small step, but clean! Kaz 1.5, very similar, a bit skew but great leg form and a small step on landing. 13.699 average
